This week was Math Week Scotland, so we have worked hard on all things math this week.

On Monday, the children were tasked with a challenge of describing a picture to a partner using shape words, which was so difficult as there were so many different ways to describe it. They got the paint out after, and created their own version of the painting. (Sorry for the mess!)

On Tuesday, we took the learning outside, and made shapes and numbers with different materials including sticks, grass, stones and acorns. The children absolutely loved it and wanted me to share pictures below.

Today, we learned numbers to 20 in French, and we also played a P.E game with Room 4 all about numbers.

By the end of today, the children were all ‘mathed out’.
