We’ve had an exciting visit today (Friday 11th) in the form of two RAF Chinook’s flying overhead! We were lucky enough to watch them for a little while as they completed their training exercise over Cambuslang.

Asides from today’s excitement, here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to this week:

 

“Luke from Kirkhill Lawn Tennis Club taught us some tennis skills and we enjoyed it.” – Cody & Lewis

“We’ve been learning about sound in Science. Did you know that sound is made by vibrations? We made paper cup frogs for the next lesson but Miss Napier won’t tell us what they’re for yet! We also did the ‘dancing sprinkles’ experiment by making vibrations with our humming so that they’d move!” – Alex G

“We looked at Claude Monet’s artistic skills and made a gigantic watery background for our cloakroom wall. Then we made lily pads using paper plates and crepe paper. Next week we’re making the lilies to go on the lily pads!” – Isla

“We finished our reading garden area by building an arch together and decorating it with all the flowers and leaves.” – Alice
