We had an amazing time today at the ‘Fun Run’. We were very happy to see that the sun was shining for us. Before we started our running, we did a little warm up in the class to get our bodies moving.

AN – We were running because it was the Fun Run.

LM – We all got a drink and a snack because we were all tired. 

NN – When we got to the pitches, a man gave us medals.

DP – We were running 500m round the school and not a lot of people were walking. Quite a lot of people were jogging.

AH – When we were waiting for a turn at the Fun Run, we were cheering at some people.

TD – Our families came to watch.

SC – I jogged with my teacher. We got water and popcorn at the finish line.

MM – Our families watched us the whole way round the pitches.

It was such a fun morning and we were delighted with our medals. The children put them in their school bags to keep them safe. Thank you for sponsoring us and coming along today to cheer us on. It really helped push us on to the finish line. We did it! 🙂

On Wednesday 20th May we will be hosting our Sports Day. We look forward to seeing you there. Pupils can come to school in their PE kits. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
