A very busy and exciting week in Room 3!

This week in Maths, we have started an exciting new topic all about money. The children have been learning to identify different coins using size and colour and exploring the different ways we can pay for items, including cash and cards. 

In Literacy, we have been consolidating the sounds ‘ch’ and ‘ng’. The children have been practising reading and writing words containing these sounds through games, phonics activities and dictated sentences. It has been wonderful to see their confidence continuing to grow.

We also had our very exciting Fun Run today! The children had lots of fun taking part and showed fantastic enthusiasm and energy throughout the event. It was lovely to see everyone joining in with big smiles on their faces! The pupils were very excited to receive a medal at the end of the race too.
