This week in Room 1:

– we have been working through our data handling block and are becoming tally mark experts! 📈📊
– Lauren came in to teach us dance on Tuesday morning. We learnt a dance to ‘help’ by The Beatles and ‘Stop’ by Spice Girls. Songs that some of our parents and grandparents enjoyed when they were younger. I will get the videos out to you via Parents Portal asap! 💃🏼🕺🏻🪩
– we wrote about Scott McTominay’s bicycle kick in Hampden back in November which helped us reach the World Cup! Pupils used a describing bubble to write a sentence about what they saw in the picture.⚽️ – we learnt how to play ‘kick the can’ a game that some of our grandparents told us they used to enjoy playing when they were younger! 🥫
– and finally we finished our week with celebrations for Scotland ahead of their game on Sunday at 2am. I am not sure many of us will be watching live, I certainly won’t 🤣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️
