Free School Meals

Lots of our families, who we believe are entitled to Free School Meals (FSM), have still not registered. As you will be aware all P1-6 pupils attending school in Scotland are entitled to free school meals. For Primary 7 pupils,  parents/ carers must be in receipt of –
  • Universal credit and earning no more than £726 in the monthly assessment period before you apply.
  • CTC only with income under £18,725
  • CTC/WTC with income under £8,717
  • Income support
  • Income-based jobseeker’s allowance
  • Income-related employment and support allowance
  • Asylum support from the Home Office
If your child is in P1-6 and also eligible for free school meals due to low income, you should still apply for free school meals to make sure that you get the Scottish child payment bridging payment and access to free Breakfast Club. We would also encourage parents/carers of pupils in P7 to apply if you think you meet the criteria above.
Please visit the website for further information and to apply. If you require any assistance please do not hesitate to contact us at the school.

Beatson Santa Dash 2025 – Help Us Reach Our Target

Two years ago, our school community came together to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity. Cancer impacts countless lives in different ways, and the Beatson continues to make an incredible difference through its compassionate care and unwavering support.

The Beatson Cancer Charity works alongside the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre – one of the leading cancer care facilities in the UK – providing vital funding for specialist staff, innovative research, and improved patient wellbeing. From emotional support and complementary therapies to cutting-edge treatments and clinical excellence, the charity ensures that patients and their families receive the best possible care at every stage of their journey.

We are proud to continue supporting the Beatson and the life-changing work they do for so many across Scotland.

This year, some of our amazing staff will be taking part in the Glasgow Santa Dash 2025 with Beatson Cancer Charity on Sunday the 7th December at Glasgow Green. Please help us to raise our fundraising target by donating to our Just Giving fundraising page. Click on the link below to access –
