We are now nearing the end of Primary 3, but we are still keeping busy!
This week, we have been revising all our spelling sounds and creating information posters about different para-athletes. We have also been developing our imaginative writing skills by thinking about what we would take to a desert island and describing our own monsters, which we then shared with the class.
In Maths, we have been working on missing number calculations and revising the four operations. In RME, we completed our Sikhism posters and enjoyed learning more about the Sikh faith.

We also enjoyed a very special experience when we met author L.G. Walters. She read an extract from her book, The Kingdom of Kilminkie, introducing the children to its characters and sharing insights into the story. It was wonderful to learn more about her journey as an author and hear about her experiences of writing and publishing a book.
Excitement is growing for the World Cup, and we made our own predictions about who we think will win. We are looking forward to finding out who is correct and are very excited for our World Cup-themed week next week!
As this is our last blog of the year, I would like to say how much I have enjoyed teaching Primary 3 and what an amazing class they have been. They have worked incredibly hard all year and have loved sharing their stories, ideas, and achievements with me. I would also like to thank all the children, their families, and friends for their wonderful support throughout the year.
Have a lovely weekend and a fantastic summer break when it comes!
