iAspire

iAspire is our digital learning strategy launched in Session 2023-24.

We are working to embed the use of digital devices and digital platforms across the curriculum to enhance learning for our young people in school and at home. As part of Glasgow’s Connected Learning, all pupils are issued with an iPad which gives access to a range of learning tools and resources, this belongs to Glasgow City Council and is traceable through the Council’s Mobile Device Management system. All young people and parents/carers sign the iPad Home School Agreement, and the roles and responsibilities for everyone involved in the smooth and successful running of iAspire can be found here:

Information regarding the vision for the Connected Learning iPad scheme and the terms and conditions for their use can be accessed via the following links:

Across the Hillpark Learning Community we are working together to ensure all young people have a consistent experience in digital learning, and are increasing opportunities for our young people to share their views and experiences of using digital so that we can improve this area of learning. At Hillpark our iAspire Ambassadors are a leadership team of young people who help support other pupils.

In Session 2023-24 we have also launched Showbie, an online digital platform, with S1. For parents of older pupils, Showbie will replace Hillpark’s use of SatchelOne by the start of Session 2024-25.
