Admin and IT

Administration and IT is a PC based course which allows you to use the most up-to-date applications software and to develop Digital Literacy Skills which are now an essential part of life and work. This course allows learners to acquire more sophisticated digital skills and confidence which can be used in any area of the curriculum and for subsequent study at university, college or in employment.

 

The context for developing these skills is a Business Environment where deadlines are set for the production of business documents, reports, presentations, research analysis, financial data, graphs and charts. Emphasis is placed on building up a range of employability skills such as Communication, Problem Solving, Team Working and Literacy and Numeracy Skills.

 

Careers:

Universities, Colleges and Employers are always looking for learners who have demonstrated that they can work independently, create and manage their work and timescales, work confidently with others and produce good quality work. All of these skills are developed in the Administration and IT course.
