Letter to parents
One of our groups involved in the SEET premiere awards in Glasgow won the award for Best Acting in a foreign language short film!
This was the first time we had entered the competition, which had more than 200 entrants from all over Scotland. We had two teams selected for the final. Not only were we the only Glasgow state school selected for the film making workshop but the pupils managed to win a prize too! Bravo to all pupils and staff involved!!
Here are the films ( slight technical glitch with the subtitles, but at least you can enjoy the fine acting!)
The workshop will begin at 6:00 pm and run for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. The workshop will be active and we invite you to come along with your child so that you can learn together.
The aims of this workshop are to increase pupil and parental knowledge of study strategies and to build confidence in revising for exams. We will also discuss ways in which we can support pupils coping with exam stress and pressure. The workshop will take place in the assembly hall and teas and coffees will be provided.
The following letter regarding attendance was given out to all pupils this week.
