Part of Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) is that all children are entitled to a well rounded education, known as Broad General Education (BGE).
In the Textile, Health & Food Technology Department we have taken this on board as well as National recomenations towards improving the Scottish diet and have created a series of courses which will not only expose pupils to “real life” skills which will be with them forever, but also prepare them for the rest of their school career.

While in S1/2 all pupils will follow the same courses, most of which involve Personalisation, using the subject areas listed above. Detailed below are typical projects that pupils will undertake.
