Dyslexia Scotland Open Meeting 21st February

The next Dyslexia Scotland Open Meeting will be held on 21st February via Zoom. The meeting will be led by Brian Costello from Headstrong and will focus on the topic of mental health. This is expected to be popular so please do look out for more information coming soon on how to book through Eventbrite.

Please also note that Dyslexia Scotland is holding a drop-in event on Saturday the 27th of January from 10.30am-4pm in Stirling. As well as information stands there will be talks throughout the day. Anyone is welcome to drop in at any time to this free event, there is no need to book.

Glasgow Clyde College – Free Club for ASL Level 1-3 Young People

Glasgow Clyde College Supported Education are providing a range of activities on a Tuesday evening for young people between the ages of 14-16 years.  Please share the following flyer to parent/carers of pupils who have additional supported needs.

Please note, this is a social class and pupils who would like to participate will have to be taken along by their parent / carer.

The SDS forum will be delivering an online zoom information session for parents/carers of young people with additional support needs, who are due to leave high school over the next couple of years. 
 
Please feel free to join us on Tuesday 14th November from 6:30pm-8:00pm to find out more about self-directed support, what to expect during transition years, and how our organisation can help make this journey easier.
