Part of Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) is that all children are entitled to a well rounded education, known as Broad General Education (BGE). In the Design & Technology Department we have taken this on board and have created a series of courses which will not only expose pupils to “real life” skills, but also prepare them for the rest of their school career. For this reason pupils will gain experience in the following subject areas:-
While in S1/2 all pupils will follow the same courses, most of which involve Personalisation, using the subject areas listed above. Detailed below are typical projects that pupils will undertake.
