Pasta Colouring

The Snowdrops have been successful learners making colourful pasta shapes and creating pasta necklaces.  Everyone contributed effectively – making personal colour choices, signing colour names, taking turns and following simple instructions when dying our pasta shapes.  We then used our fine motor skills to thread our coloured pasta onto elastic.  It was a fun activity and the Snowdrops confidently showed their work to friends from the  Moonbeams during our ice cream parlour enterprise activity.

Summer walk

We visited the library for the last time this term and enjoyed listening to a story about a shark in the park with bookbug. We then went a walk around the Kay park to see if we could see a shark in our park. We didn’t see a shark but we did see lots of ducks and little ducklings too. The boys enjoyed watching the mummy and daddy bring twigs etc to add to the nest and then the ducklings venture out onto the pond.
