Letters for the North Pole!

* SUCCESSFUL LEARNERS, RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS *

The Bluebells class wrote their letters to Santa yesterday. We used the Smyths catalogue, scanned and cut out items we wanted and used these in our Santa letters.

We are excited to go and post them on Thursday 🙂

Numeracy and Origami

The Transition boys were Successful Learners when they used their numeracy skills to complete two tasks. They made origami Christmas craft following numbered sections and creating ‘up’ or ‘down’ folds. They then made different 3D shaped snowmen again following a numbered pattern and had to match their shapes to a different set on the interactive board. Well done boys!

Beans Means Success

The Transition boys were Confident Individuals in the cookery room this week. They were set the challenge to independently make one serving of beans on toast. They boys successfully and safely portioned the beans, used the microwave and toaster and spread their own butter.  Their reward for achieving this was…….a lovely plate of beans on toast!
