Number Challenge

This week’s blog challenge is all about numbers!

Using pens, paint or chalk, practise forming different numbers and then count out some everyday objects and correspond these to the numbers you have written. For example write number 6, then match 6 pieces of pasta beside the number.

For an extra challenge, you could try adding numbers together and finding how many ways you can to make the number ten.

Remember, all blog challenges are optional, and can be completed at your own pace  🙂

Here’s some examples:

Hello from the Sungazers Staff

Hello, we hope you are all keeping well and enjoying this wonderful weather!  We are missing you all very much and we are working hard on ways to keep in touch.  We will be posting weekly tasks, messages or activities for you, so please keep checking our blog for information.  All tasks and activities are optional.

Our first task is based on our new topic – ‘Minibeasts.’ We will start with a lovely story called “Twist and Hop Minibeast Bop”.  Here is a link to the story which you can listen to and enjoy!  If you can’t get the link to work, type the story name into YouTube and you will find it.

Take care and stay safe!

Fun in the sun

Hello everyone.

The Sunflower ladies and I are missing you very much and hope you are all well. We have been thinking and are going to post some activities on here for you to try with your family. You don’t need to try every one but if you do could you sent us a photo we would love to see your little faces again.

This week we thought we could all make something with different materials. We all made the beginning letter of our second names. You could do the first letter of your name, your whole name, a face or any design you want. Have fun you can do this indoors or outdoors. You can use any materials you want. I used sticks and flowers from my garden. Most of all have fun and involve all the family. 🙂
