P6/7 Football training resumed last week and there was an excellent turnout as per usual. There are lots of fixtures coming up and there will also be an opportunity for P5 and P6 pupils to trial for the P5/6 Regional tournament on 10th May. The first trial will be held Thursday 3rd May at lunch time.
With help from our PTA, Mrs Carten and Mrs Saxelby were able to purchase Fit 15 resources for every stage. All children have thoroughly enjoyed playing with the equipment. Thank you!

P6K enjoyed their recent trip to Amazonia at M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park. The handling session was a definite favourite for most of the children.
P1M And P7C got together to share a reading session. The primary 7s enjoyed reading to their buddies and the primary 1s loved listening and asking questions.
P3E have been making Viking tunics today using pillowcases. When they are working on their Viking topic they are all going to be wearing their tunics – even Mrs Easter!

Please see attached letter for info. regarding our ‘Big Pedal 2018’.

East Ayrshire Libraries are delighted to be working in collaboration with the SPFL Trust and Kilmarnock Football club to bring the 4-4-2 Reading Challenge to local children.
As a reward for reading and using the library we are offering free tickets to Kilmarnock home games.

All that primary aged children need to do is borrow 4 books from the library (on their own card, not a group card) and when they return the fourth book they get a card stamped which they take to Rugby Park to exchange for 1 free child ticket and 1 discounted adult ticket on selected home games. The challenge runs until the end of May but completed vouchers can be redeemed until the end of October.
