Our RRS Ambassadors delivered many bags to The Food Bank at NWKLEUS .
We also had representatives from Knockinlaw Branching Out Community Initiative come to collect more bags and boxes of harvest items. These were very gratefully received by both places. A huge thank you to all who donated items towards our Harvest for our community. ⭐️

It is with great excitement, we offer two further after school activities to our programme:
Monday 3pm – 4pm – The TECH BUS (IT/Gaming) available for P4/5/6/7 – starting Monday 31 October to Monday 12 December
Thursday 3pm – 4pm – Christmas Choir available for P6/7 – starting Thursday 3rd November to Thursday 15 December

Mr Swan will issue confirmation via email to all families before the end of this week. For any crossover between activities, your child is welcome to sign up for multiple and choose weekly which activity they wish to attend.

Please be reminded our After School Activities programme starts this week, from Wednesday 26 October.
All families who completed the online form to sign up should have received an email from Mr Swan before the October break to confirm their child’s place and the start/end dates. Please check this email to confirm details.
Children will be collected by a staff member from their class at the end of the school day and taken to their activity.
If you still would like to sign your child up, or have any questions, please call our school office on 01563 525477 and you will be advised if places are still available.

Thank you to everyone who donated to World Porridge Day Charity- Mary’s Meals. We collected £121.68 . Thanks to our Parent Council helpers – Lindsay & Jackie and our RRS Ambassadors for their help with our bucket collection. Everyone was invited to taste porridge today: some said “no thank you” and others loved it!

We are excited to share #OurOnthank After School Activities timetable with you!
These activities will run from October – December.
Our learning community will then participate in a short evaluation on the activities, shaping our January – June programme that will be announced in the New Year.
As our parent/carer community family, if you have any special skills or talents and would like to lead or help lead an activity, please join us and get involved.
Mr Swan will provide confirmation to each family that their child has a place via letter before the October holiday.
