Hi Primary 7, this would have been your residential to Belmont so here are some Belmont-related activities for this week.
The good news is that the weather is supposed to be nice this week (especially Monday to Wednesday!)

Maths
Please read the fractions help sheet (above) before completing any fractions worksheets.
There is a Sumdog competition starting on Friday (you should all have your logins).
The school has signed up for a resource called MyMaths. It is a website which has lessons, resources and ideas. Each of you has an individual username and password. If you would like to access the website, please ask someone at home to contact Mrs Davidson, using the email address st-pius@dundeecity.gov.uk They must include your full name and class in the email to receive your login details. Mrs Davidson will get the information sent out to you as soon as she can, once your adult has contacted her.

There is a survey about Coronavirus that you might wish to complete (it’s for 8-14 year olds so that includes all of you!)
There is a St Paul’s transition booklet that I’m sure you’ll find interesting and useful to read.

this week in primary 7 some S2’s from St Pauls came in to talk about internet safety. In literacy we have started writing our imaginative stories we have also been continued our work on adding and subtracting fractions and started showing information with charts. Mrs Glancy also showed us how to play korfball in P E

This week we some S2’s came in to speak to us about bullying in numeracy we continued our work about adding and subtracting fractions we had our first way of the cross practice we have done lots of reading for book week. We also played some games in P EÂ like badminton and benchball

This week we have been doing our ten quick question challenges in math to see if we can beat our score from yesterday. 4 pupils from our class went to the rotary quiz in Morgan academy.

this week primary 7 have been continuing our work on simplifying fractions and our picture its and blank word sheets. In P.E the Primary 1s came in to play some of our games. Primary 7 have enjoyed our 3 day week. see you next Friday

This week primary 7 have ben continuing our work on simplifying fractions. In P.E we have been making plans for our games that we will practise with our p1 buddies. We also completed our advanced reading SNSA’s.
