Scottish Afternoon

We have been fundraising for the RNLI. Their national fundraising day was on 29th January 2011 and the theme was SOS. On that Friday, we asked parents and friends to Sponsor Our Spelling.

Today we asked parents to join us at school to Swirl Our Skirts and Share Our Shortbread. We gave a short presentation about the RNLI. After that we gave recitations of Scottish poems and sang songs.

We will post some videos of our singing tomorrow.

Then we took our parents and friends to the gym and taught the Virginia Reel. Here is a video of them joining in our fun!

We went back to the classroom and had our shortbread and a wee drink of Irn Bru.

Thank you to everyone who came and who has supported our fundraising for the lifeboats. We will let you know how much we have raised by the end of the week.
