This morning some of our parents came in to take part in some of our active maths activities. Thank you to everyone who came along. We really enjoyed ourselves – we hope you did too.
This week we continued our work on symmetry by drawing the other half of our faces from a black and white photograph. We found it quite tricky but we all tried really hard and did a great job.
Archie wrote the following story at home. He read it out to us in class and we though it was really good so we decided to publish it on the blog. Mrs Stewart is hoping to start a writing blog for our class after the holidays.
One sunny day on Planet Earth lots of strange things started to happen. There were alien spaceships in fact. Then monsters were falling from the sky. All the people were running away screaming. The monsters were walking through the houses.
The planes were zapping the people into dust and the dust was turning into nothing. The monsters were tugging the people’s heads off. Then Superman came to help them.
He was picking up the monsters and kicking the aliens spaceships. The monsters were back in the sky and the aliens were walking back to their spaceships. Superman had saved the day!
