Here are some activities to go along with today’s timetable. Have fun!
Calendar –
We love this months of the year song in the Pink Class.
Talk about which month comes after July? before December? Order the months of the year.
Movement –
I’m trying this every morning – don’t laugh Pink Class! Give it a go as a family! Do the parts that you can…..it’s tough!
Life Skills –
Can you help make lunch today. Remember to wash the dishes!
ICT/Technology –
ance –
Dance along to a ‘Just Dance’ video on YouTube.
Story –
This was my favourite story when I was a little girl. Do you like this story? What is your favourite part. Can you draw a picture and write a sentence… ‘My favouirite part is……’
Fiddly Fingers –
Cut and stick pancake from home learning pack.
Gardening/CDT
Watch Scott’s videos on planting mung beans. Do you have any plants in your house or garden. Have a close look at them.
HWB –
Teach someone in your family how to wash their hands properly.
TODAY’S CHALLENGE:
Find 8 things in your house that start with the letter ‘a’
This is a favourite game of ours. There’s lots of options but usually we use “Number bonds – Make 10”. If your child is unable to add then tell them the answer and they must select the correct number. Lovely way to practise number recognition.
There’s also timetables, etc for those who are able to do this. 🙂
Can you tidy the cutlery drawer? How many forks, knives and spoons do you have? How many small spoons/large spoons? Your challenge is to set the table for your family today.
Maths –
We have just started working with money in the Pink Class.
Here are some activities you could use outdoor or possibly inside. Talking about maths is really important for learning and understanding concepts. Have a look at the activites and see which one might suit your child.
