Group 5 Circle Time Thursday 23rd April
Hello everyone,
Today I am feeling like Little Miss Chatterbox. I had a quiet day yesterday so today I feel like having a good natter so I am going to phone my dad and wish him a happy birthday.
Who could you call on the phone for a chat?
Today’s weather is going to be sunny and dry again. Our gardens haven’t had any rain for a long time now. For Lifeskills today perhaps you could water the plants in your garden or hang the washing on the line.
For movement today choose a favourite song to dance to. I am going to dance to one of my all time favourites for dancing too ‘Cotton Eye Joe’.
Once you have warmed up it is time for Maths so check out Steve’s Maths posts for your activities for today.
After that it is Fiddly Fingers and your challenge for the day is to make a jigsaw. How about using an old cereal box to make one like this. Perhaps someone else in your family could make one too and then you could try doing theirs and they could do yours. To make it more difficult you could cut the picture into more pieces.
After a break it is story time. Today’s story is Alfie and the Birthday Surprise so check out the blog at 10.30 to see and hear it.
Check out Sign of the day with Lorna and then it is time for Music with Connie and Gordon.
After lunch it is time for Dance with Rachel so check out her moves in the dance section.
To finish the day why not give someone a hand massage in sensory time? It is nice if you have hand-cream or baby lotion but it is fine without too. Perhaps you could have a massage too!
Have lovely days, Sarah
