Our School Values, Vision and Aims

Our Mission Statement:

Our school promotes the mission and vision of Catholic Education and strives to create a dynamic, welcoming community where every child is valued and challenged to develop holistically. Our school staff  work together with home and parish to foster strong gospel values through the faith development and education of our pupils.

School Aims:

  1. Learning and Teaching
  • To engage our young people in the highest quality learning and teaching activities
  • To ensure a broad and balanced curriculum that provides young people with the best possible learning opportunities and experience within a faith community
  • To ensure that all learners are able to realise their potential through the promotion and recognition of achievement and
  • To provide the highest quality of learning and teaching experiences that enable young people to enjoy their education and develop positive attitudes towards learning.

2.    Vision and Leadership

  • To develop a common vision among all members of the school community by providing the highest quality learning and teaching
  • To ensure that all learners are able to experience a calm, positive and safe environment that promotes good behaviour, self-discipline and respect for others
  • To exemplify our culture of values in action through our Rights Respecting Schools principles, practices and gospel values
  • To promote high aspirations and a ‘can do’ attitude to promote creativity, innovation and equality for across the learning community

  • To promote and share the vision of the school with parents, partners and stakeholders through regular reflection and debate
  • To promote our sense of belonging to a faith community through example of living out our gospel values
  • To actively promote strong community and parental partnerships, which promote imaginative, creative and innovative contexts for learning
  • To actively engage with all community partners to support and challenge our young people to overcome barriers and to achieve their full potential

  • To ensure that the morale of pupils and staff and their levels of commitment to the school are very high and are sustained through a sense of ownership and active experience of personal responsibility
