This week primary 3 have been learning all about money. We have looked at lots of different coins and we have been working out the total value of the coins. We have played lots of games and completed interactive activities to practice using the coins. Next week we will be learning about finding the change.
Here are some interesting facts we have learned.
Molly – I know that if you have zero pounds and just pennies you write it like this £0.24
Monde Jnr – There are one hundred pennies in one pound.
Freya – Coins only go up to £2.
Harris – There are fifty two pences in £1.
Callum – There are two hundred one pences in £2.
Luke – There are two fifty pences in £1. There are twenty two pences in £1.
