P5/6 A had a fantastic visit from Mr Graham today to talk about his work and travels as a Global Sales Representative.
We heard about and tested some of his products and heard a lot of interesting information about his travels. We saw some of the different places he has visited, the food there, the different cultures and got to hold some of the different currencies form the countries he has been to.
Primary 1/2 designed their own Autumn Hunt bags and went on a walk around our school looking for signs of Autumn. They found conkers, chestnuts, mushrooms, brambles and lots of yellow and orange leaves.
Primary 2 used our new STEM room to investigate ‘Floating and Sinking’.
Mr Blair visited us this week to tell us about his job as a Marine Police Officer. He showed us lots of photographs of him working and we loved trying out the equipment!
Shona Traynor visited P6/7H this week to tell us about her job as a Biomedical Scientist. She told us about all of the interesting things that she does and we asked lots of questions!
P6/7H have been learning about renewable energy sources. We researched the advantages and disadvantages and presented our findings through Book Create.
