Primary 6 have started training as activity leaders today. They are learning how to organise younger pupils into fun and safe activities. Good Luck Primary 6.
P3 began writing descriptions and drawing detailed pictures of witches after discussing in groups good adjectives that would really give the reader a picture in their head.
All the children enjoyed making and tasting their own homemade oatcakes with Scottish cheese last term. The oatcakes were voted even better than shop-bought and we knew all our ingredients were also Scottish.
Lots of research added to our Book Creator books about Charles Rennie Macintosh. Then we created roses designed to look like the Macintosh rose and painted just like he would have done using watercolours.
P4/5S had great fun exploring how Apple Clips can be used to showcase their learning. Mr Bunce visited the class to demonstrate how the App could be used to present topic facts in a fun and interesting way. The children were delighted with the results.
