We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to
school on Monday 20th August at 9am.
New P1 children should gather at the P1 entrance for 9.30am.
We hope to have the school blog updated in the next week.
P5/6 have been big buddies for P1F teaching them how to log onto a laptop, type, add a picture and then log off correctly.
More photos to follow in the weeks to come as both classes are really enjoying learning together.

Last week P5/6 looked at the trumpet. A few of the class got to try out playing the trumpet. It was much harder than it looks to play.
Ian showed us how it was done.
We painted, decorated and finished our models with moving mouths.
P5/6 have been keeping fit running our daily mile as a Pilgrimage every week.
P5/6 had a fantastic Science workshop led by Mrs Sherard from SERC.
We learned about pneumatic and hydraulics in a practical, fun way. It taught us a lot more about solids, liquids and gases.
We added water to our system to make a hydraulic system which we had to bleed and test.
Mrs Sherard showed us a model bat whose mouth opened and closed with a simple pneumatic system.
We each got our own materials to design and make our own models.
We had a great time.

As part of our, ” Wonders Of The World,” topic we were looking at the Romans and at The Colosseum.
We held a drama session where the pupils recreated a short scene and then froze the action for the rest of the class to guess what it was.

P4/5 and P5 visited the Glasgow Transport Museum yesterday as part of their class topic.
Everyone had a great time!
