P3 have been learning all about the body. This week we learned about the bones in our body.
In groups we had to investigate the different bones and their position in our skeleton.

P3G Bowling
Primary 3 have been learning all about how to play ten pin bowling from a Scottish Champion!
P3G Scientists
Primary 3 found out all about liquids in a liquid stacking experiment.
First we had to predict what liquids we thought would be heaviest and lightest. Then we completed an experiment to see if we were correct.
P3G Big Maths
We are showing we can use the doubling strategies we know to double 2 digit numbers.
There are also lots of fantastic resources that the children can use on Topmarks website to practise doubling, halving and number facts.
P3G Dawali Rangoli Patterns
This term we are learning about some of the Festivals of Light. This week we have been learning all about Dawali. We created Rangoli patterns which people use to decorate their homes during Dawali.
P3G Learn Its
Sometimes we practise our quick recall of Learn Its facts using the beach ball. When the ball is thrown we must answer the first fact we see. Then try to say some of the fact family as well. The Learn Its we should be trying to remember this term have been set home this week.
P3G Sport Leaders
We had great fun learning about relay races with the Sport Leaders last week (9.11.18). We had to try to pass the baton from behind the next runner, who had to be ready and looking behind them.
P3G Sports Leaders
We had great fun learning rugby skills today with the Sports Leaders from St. Modans. The sports leaders will be working with us every Friday for the next six weeks.
P3 Hallowe’en Disco
The P3’s had a super time at the disco this afternoon!
Dancing, Corners, Statues. Great fun.
