Primary 6 were outdoors this week and created a map of the school using the orienteering symbols they had learned with Mrs. Collington. The next day they had to use a map of the school to locate hidden letters as part of a treasure trail. Once all letters were found they rearranged them to identify the location of the treasure. All the class succeeded and they were rewarded with their treasure, a chocolate lolly!
The class visited the STEM room and were given the instruction to identify resources to support our topic, The Great Outdoors. Everyone in each group collected one item and returned to the classroom to explain their choice. Next week we shall decide what we need to take as we go on our first nature walk.
