Scots Verse 2025

Each year, we host our Scots Verse competition where pupils learn a poem to recite. We had 3 external judges who judged the following categories and poems.

P1 Category – Mince and Tatties by J.K Annand 

Junior– Street Talk by J.K Annand

Intermediate- Willie Wastle by Robert Burns

Senior – To A Mouse by Robert Burns

Dancing Achievements 2024-25

Primary 2 – 3 and Primary 4-5 took part in South Ayrshire Dance Competition. The pupils attended an after school dance club each week, preparing for the competition.

Primary 2 & 3 pupils were successful in winning 2nd place at the South Ayrshire Dance Competition! We are so proud of you all, well done!

Wider Achievements

Wider Achievements of pupils are celebrated every month at our House Assemblies. Achievements are shared with teachers who give pupils the opportunity to discuss their achievement with their class. The pupils are awarded a house point and their achievement is shared with the whole school during the House Assembly presentation.

Pictures of the pupils and their achievements are also added to our Wall of Fame for all pupils, staff and visitors to see!
