Primary 3/4 – Term 4

This year our teacher is Miss Thomson and we have 21 pupils in our class.  We have 12 P4 pupils and 9 Primary 3 pupils. In our class we show we are ready, respectful and safe.

• In Maths this term we will be focusing multiplication, calendar, time and a recap on our place value and money learning.
• In Literacy, we are reading The Last Wolf as our book study. This is a great story which will provide us with lots of opportunities to create different genres of writing and also help us with our comprehension skills.
• In reading, we are thoroughly enjoying learning a new sound each week. We use our phoneme fingers to segment and blend words and this is really helping us with our spelling and reading!
• This term, we will all be learning to play handball and hopefully have our own mini tournament at the end. We are looking forward to all the fun sporting events this term too like Sports Championships and Sports Day.
• This term our topic is The Desert. We will explore the desert, the animals you find there and the climate. We are also looking forward to a class trip to Culzean too.
• We continue to develop our technology skills weekly with the school iPads and computers. This term, we look forward to learning about how to code and programme the Marty Robots from our Digital Leaders. Keep your eyes peeled for more information about this.
