Primary 7E

By Orla

Welcome to Primary 7E where we enjoy all aspects of our learning. This year, our teacher is Mrs Edmiston. We are class of 22 pupils who are all keen and excited to learn. Our school values are READY, RESPECTFUL and SAFE and they guide us in all that we do.

As we begin our final term of primary school, we are incredibly busy in class. We are looking forward to events in Term 4 such as Sports Day, House Netball, House Football and other sporting competitions in May and June.

In Maths, we are learning about concepts such as money, time, area and perimeter, equations and measure. Our maths lessons have us fully engaged and active.

Our Literacy journey continues with our new approach to spelling, improving our decoding and encoding skills along the way. Currently, we’re engrossed in “The Boy at the Back of the Class,” a Read Woke novel centred around the experiences of a refugee.

Our interdisciplinary focus this term will be our Bands on Tour topic. We are excited about this topic because of the amount of learning opportunities it offers. We can’t wait to get started!

Rehearsals are now fully underway for our School of Rock showcase in June. Stay tuned for more details about this event. We will also start to prepare for our P7 Leavers’ Service. But be warned, you might need your tissues as we say our final farewell to Coylton Primary.

Make sure to follow the school Twitter page to see our daily learning experiences unfold! 📚🌟
