Primary 4 – Term 1

This year our teacher is Miss Herron and we have 31 pupils in our class. In our class we show we are ready, respectful and safe.

• In Maths this term we will be focusing on a range of number skills including place value, greater than/less than, odd and even numbers and a range of addition and subtraction strategies. We will also explore shape, both 2D and 3D.
• In Literacy, we are reading Charlotte’s web as our book study. Through this book we will explore a range of comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and writer techniques/styles to help improve our own understanding and writing skills.
• In Physical education we will be developing our ball skills focusing on a range of different passes and catches using our hands.
• We are very excited to be using both iPads and laptops this term and are looking forward to continuing to develop our technology skills weekly. We will be focusing on our typing skills this term and creating and exploring Microsoft word.
