Primary 2/3 

This year our teacher is Miss Thomson and we have 25 pupils in our class.  We have 8 P3 pupils and 17 Primary 2 pupils. In our class we show we are ready, respectful and safe.

• In Maths this term we will be focusing place value, shape, symmetry, addition and subtraction.
• In Literacy, we are reading Amazing Grace as our book study. We will also be exploring Read Woke themes through this story. Every week we learn new phonemes and the different graphemes that represent them when written.
• This term, we will all be developing our throwing and catching skills and game tactics.
• We continue to develop our technology skills weekly with the school iPads and computers. We are learning the importance of passwords, creating our own and learning to log onto the computer independently. We are exploring Microsoft word and how we can use it.
• This year we will be exploring Charities. We hope to raise money for a few charities throughout the year. This term, we are looking at Foodbanks. We look forward to a visit from South Ayrshire Foodbank volunteers and hope to donate to them too.
• Mrs Stewart will teach us on a Thursday afternoon, covering French, Literacy and P.E
