Primary 2/3 – Term 2

This year our teacher is Miss Thomson and we have 24 pupils in our class.  We have 7 P3 pupils and 17 Primary 2 pupils. In our class we show we are ready, respectful and safe.

• In Maths this term we will be focusing on addition, subtraction, patterns and angles.
• In Literacy, we are finishing reading The Hodgeheg as our book study. We are looking forward to reading this and also taking learning outside to support this. In addition to this, we will be focusing on developing fluency and accuracy through our Dandelion texts and Bugclub books.
• This term, we will be developing our gymnastics skills and social dancing.
• We continue to develop our technology skills weekly with the school iPads and computers. We are developing our confidence with logging onto the computers and will be exploring coding through Micro:Bits.
• Primary 3 pupils will access YMI music instruction for this term.
• We love having Mrs Cox on a Wednesday morning who takes us out for our Outdoor Learning.
