Primary 1 – Term 4

We are having great fun in p1, working hard with our friends!

• In Maths this term we will be working on counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.  We will also be looking at money, identifying coins up to £2, making amounts up to 20p and giving change from 10p.
• In Literacy, we are all working with a reading book, and continuing to learn new sounds, as well as go over ones we have been taught.  We go over all our sounds every day! We are working on making posters and writing sentences independently.
• Our topic this term is Castles.  We have been learning what a castle is, where they are built and the features of a castle.
• In P.E we are learning to play team games and working on our athletic skills in preparation for sports day.
• We have been learning how to use digital technology to enhance our learning in literacy and numeracy.
• For outdoor learning we have been caring for the environment, going on litter picks and using the equipment to play with our friends co-operatively.
