A BIG Thanks!!
I would just like to say a big thanks to all of the children and the parents/guardians for their kindness and generosity. The kind words in the cards and the beautiful gifts and flowers were not necessary but were very much appreciated.
It has been a pleasure working with primary 5 this year I wish them every success in primary 6 and beyond.
I look forward to reading what they are doing on the blog next year – so remember to keep posting!!
Thanks again, it has been a wonderful year and I will miss each and every pupil very much.

Miss Docherty left yesterday it was really sad! Teachers like Miss Docherty don’t come around that often. She was the best teacher ever she was my favourite.

Miss Docherty our teacher left today I was so sad my class mate cried but I kept it in but when I came home I cried all night nearly. This is my best teacher ever I’ll never forget you ever. I loved this teacher soo MUCH here is a little poem for her.

School Concert
The Primary 5 and Primary 7 classes teamed up for the school concert this year. The genre of music that we chose was Hip Hop. We sang Price Tag, Dirty bit and Cooler than you.
Mrs O’Hanlon helped us with our dance moves for the show. We were very happy to get paired with P7 because this was their last year at the school and we had the chance to sing with them and perform on our stage at the school show together.
We wore denims, a big T-Shirt, sunglasses and a baseball cap.

DSis Train our Brain
We have been using DSi’s in our class for the past month to improve our skills in a number of different areas. They helped is to be quicker at our mental maths and helped our skills for finding patterns. They also helped us to speed up our reaction times and get much quicker at finding and seeing things. We enjoyed using the DSis in our maths to help us get better.
We all started with brain ages of around 70 to 80 years old. At the end of the month everyone had improved on their brain age which means that we are using our brain better and it is healthier because of this.
After we had finished brain training we could use the pixel chat to talk to each other and that was also lots of fun.

Miss Docherty you are the best teacher ever and we are all going to miss you very much. We hope you have enjoyed being in primary five as much as we have. When we go into primary six we hope all your memories in primary five will be with you all the time and when we say goodbye we won’t forget you forever. When we’re stuck well we’ll think what you would do and let us do the right thing from the day we leave chapelside primary school and that’s where you’ll be missed at and I just want to say your the best teacher ever and I’m sure you get told that a lot and sorry your leaving.

Miss Docherty is leaving this year and every body wants her to stay and be our teacher in p6 or else we stay in p5.All the class is sad about her leaving but we all want to see our teacher for next year but they won't be better than Miss Docherty.She is the best teaher in the world and she lets us watch movies she always makes you smile when we are sad and upset. When ever we fallout she always makes it better.
She never shouts just smiles but when we are very bad she will shout but not a lot. She is going to be missed a lot and that is why she is such a briliant teacher.I wish she didn't need to move to a different school to teach but she promised she would post comments on our blog and come in and visit us when we are in primary6.
