The guidelines set out by the Scottish Government are designed to keep our community as safe as possible from COVID-19. If any child has been in contact with a positive case within or without of school then test and protect will contact your family and ask you to self-isolate for a period of time.

If you are contacted by Test and Protect and asked to self isolate, or if you or a member of your household are symptomatic and self isolating please follow the guide below.

  1. Parent should contact the school office via phone or email to inform them of the situation.
  2. Parent can access the learning grids below for instant access to suitable home learning activities.
  3. Once parent has informed the school, class teachers will be informed at the end of the day who from their class is required to self isolate. Over the next 24 hours the child’s class teacher will send an email to the child’s Glow account with work allocated online which relates to what is being covered in class.
  4. If any parent needs to speak with the class teacher at any point, please contact the school office to arrange an appointment. Please remember that your child’s class teacher will still be in class teaching and therefore unable to speak or support with work throughout the school day.

We understand that digital learning can be a daunting prospect for many so in addition to the opportunities for digital learning provided, our staff team have also created home learning grids for literacy and numeracy at Early, First and Second Level. Please phone the school if you have difficulty accessing digital resources and arrangements will be made to support.
