We interviewed pupils Evie and Nairn. We asked them if they enjoyed the art exhibition and they both said “Yes!”; they were focusing on the artist George Wyllie and so they were making paper boats and backgrounds. They really enjoyed it.
They have been learning about Scottish inventors and they did lots of research and other interesting activities on this topic. In maths they have been focusing on money and for this they have been receiving pretend bills and working out how much each family would have to pay. In class their ERIC time books are Horrible Histories and ‘Room for a Stranger’. In ICT they have been detailing their dream holiday and working out the prices.

November 2019
We interviewed Nikki and Nairn from P7/6. We asked them if one of them or their friends were going to be auditioning for the school talent show – they are sadly not, but some of their friends in their class are going to be! At Literacy time, they are looking at poems and learning about figurative language. Nikki went to the Battery Park with her friends to see the fireworks display. They are reading Point Blank in class and this links into their class topic, which is World War II.
