May 2019
We interviewed Oliver and Hollie. They really enjoyed all their visitors during World of Work week and learned lots of new things. They are really enjoying ‘Percy the Park Keeper’ at the moment and have been planting their own seeds. They are looking forward to watching them grow. Together with P1b they have done lots of work on setting up the outdoor learning area. It’s looking great! They like to celebrate achievements in class and recently Hollie came 2nd place in a dancing competition – well done to Hollie! If there was one thing they could choose to have to make our school even better, it would be a recycling bin – great idea.

Primary 1b are really enjoying their work on ‘Up Our Street’. One activity they really enjoy is going on Google Maps to find our school and the streets around it. During Internet Safety Week they were finding out what personal information is and thinking about online stranger danger. In maths they have been learning about weighing, measuring and estimating. They used their hands and feet to measure things. Everyone has been enjoying learning jumping, rolling, balancing and travelling skills in gymnastics at PE time. They are all liking the new lunch menu, with their favourite meal being macaroni cheese! Everyone has made Rudy feel really welcome in his new school.
