Welcome to our school community!
The Parent Council plays an active and supportive role in helping make our school the best it can be for every child. We work in partnership with the Head Teacher, staff, pupils, and the wider community to promote positive relationships between home and school.
Our role has two important sides. We represent the views of parents and carers, share ideas, and contribute to school improvement initiatives. At the same time, we work to complement what the school already provides with social experiences for our children, both within and outwith school, from discos to school trips and everything in between.
Whether it’s through volunteering, fundraising, or contributing to discussions about school priorities, we would love more parents and carers to get involved—your ideas, energy, and support make a real difference!

How to take part
We are always looking for parents and carers who would like to get involved.
Some volunteering roles involving children require membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Where a PVG is required, the application is straightforward, there is no cost to you, and the Parent Council will support you through the process.
Having the appropriate PVG in place opens up more opportunities to volunteer at Parent Council and school activities throughout the year.
