JRSO

November 2022

Our new JRSOs have been selected for this year. It was a difficult decision for Mrs Stewart to elect just two young people, as so many had applied for this important role. Well done to these two successful boys.

14-18 November is Road Safety Week. Our JRSOs have plenty of activities planned.

May 2022

Walk to School Week will start on Monday 16th May.   The JRSO team are keen to promote this and have distributed packs for every class.  The pack consists of an activity diary for every pupil, along with stickers, bookmarks and posters.  There is a chart in each class for everyone to mark if they walked to school each day.  At the end of the week the charts will be collected in and we’ll find out which class will win the famous WOW badges!

March 2022

This year we joined in the competition to design a badge for this year’s Walk To School week.   The theme was ‘Walk Through Time‘.  We asked pupils to draw something from the past that they found interesting, dinosaurs seemed were a very popular choice.   We had around 250 entries and this made the job of finding 3 winners very difficult.  Some of the entries had loads of detail and colour.  We decided that we would not only choose 3 winners, which have been sent to Living Streets, we also chose 4 runners up.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate.
Walk To School week takes place from 16th May.
Thank you
Ben and Ramsay

Here are the winners and runners-up entries.

The winners were Jamie G, Hollie S and Anna D.  The runners up were:- Shane B,  Finlay H, Abbigail G and Zara L. Well done to them and to all who entered .
