P3/4 pupil leadership – planning positive changes in the playground. We have researchers, designers, project leaders and safety officers working together to make the playground a safe and happy place for everyone. Look out for exciting activities coming to a playground near you!

We interviewed Alexander and Amy. During Internet Safety week P3/4 spoke about behaviour online and the steps to take if someone is sending unkind messages. They also learned not to talk to strangers. Everyone is really enjoying learning about the Beacon and all about theatres. During maths the class a improving their subtraction skills and practising their times tables. They have also been doing some money work. At PE they are improving their rolling, balancing and jumping skills through gymnastics.  The class like the new homework and get to share what they have done at circle time.

At the moment the class are learning all about Polar Lands. They are learning about the Arctic and the Antarctic, as well as climate change and how it is impacting the animals that live there. During Internet Safety week P3/4 spoke about behaviour online and the steps to take if someone is sending unkind messages. In maths they have been learning about Fractions – splitting shapes in to halves, quarters, thirds and fifths. They have also been finding fractions of numbers by sharing sweets into equal groups 🙂 The focus at PE is athletics and everyone is working on a variety of skills, indoors and outdoors. The new lunch menu is good and the whole class think Friday lunches are the best! Everyone likes the new homework and they have circle time on a Friday to share what they have been doing.
