P6/5 created lots of 6 Word Stories, watched Michael Rosen talk about writing and we also read some of our favourite novels in class.

 

 

We interviewed Olivia and Jessica. The class are doing a novel study at the moment – A Monster Calls. They are really enjoying it. During maths they are learning all about decimals and fractions. At PE they have been enjoying doing kickball. They also really enjoyed the ‘Clyde in the Classroom’ experience.

Nov. 2018 
We interviewed Anna and Sarah. They are doing enjoying comprehension activities in literacy at the moment. They are focusing on division in maths. Their topic is Greece and their reading novel is all about Greek myths. Their favourite thing to do in class is art.

Oct. 2018
We interviewed Harry and Lorna from P5/6. Their class novel is all about Ancient Greek Myths. They have been creating comic strips for their learning experiences on their class novel. At maths they have been learning division, times tables and rounding. They have been learning rugby and kickball at PE. Their favourite part of their new class is the fact that it is on the bottom floor! There was nothing else they wanted to tell us!!

Sept. 2018
We interviewed Laura and Finlay from P5/6.
The have enjoyed learning about abstract art and trying this for themselves. Their favourite thing they have been doing this term was PE. At PE they have been practising throwing and catching.
At ICT they have been doing Sumdog and creating comments.
