In Room 2, our interdisciplinary topic is the ‘World Cup’. We have been getting very excited about countries, flags and Scotland.

DP – Some of us were talking about the World Cup and we were singing songs at the assembly in the lunch hall. In class, we looked at the Scotland football strip for the World Cup. We looked at all the countries who were taking part in the World Cup. We put some of the football kits that we made on our IDL wall. 

MM – There are 48 countries that are taking part in the World Cup. We went to our ‘sharing assembly’.

NN – We were learning about the World Cup and we were sharing all about it at assembly. 

LA – I am in the World Cup at my football club.

SC – We put numbers on our football kits.

IJ – We designed our own football kits. 

AH – We made a World Cup using cardboard and paint. It is gold and green. 

LM – We looked at all of the countries that are going to play football at the World Cup – Turkey, Scotland, France and England. 

We are excited to learn more about Scotland and the World Cup as the term continues. 🙂
