Hello everyone ,

This week in room 16 we have been pretty busy.

We have been growing our own broad beans with Ms Kerr. We are doing an experiment to see what plant grows the best. We are doing this by testing different conditions; one plant will have everything. The other 4 will each have no seed, no soil, no water or no sunlight. We will water them every Monday,Wednesday and Friday. We can’t wait to see which one grows best.

Due to the upcoming elections p5 are going to be electing their own class minister in each class. We are going to be doing posters, speeches and drama to recreate the election in class. We have been practicing our persuasive writing  with Miss Muir to prepare for the speeches.

For numeracy we have been looking at the link between decimals, fractions and percentages. We have been drawing hundred squares to help us see what parts of a whole look like.

Thank you for reading this blog. I hope you come back to hear more about our class, lots of love room 16.
