Happy New Year everyone! I can’t wait to see what this term will bring, and it was so lovely to see all of you this week.

This week we started learning the 2 times table, and how to double numbers. We went outside to practice this too! Next week we will look at the 5 and 10 times table. In literacy, our sound of the week was ‘ow’, and we spent lots of time making up silly sentences to help us remember the ow words.

At the start of the week we spoke about New Years Resolutions, and some of the children shared theirs at assembly this morning! We also created a lovely wall display.

Homework starts next week, but there are allocated tasks on Mathletics and Bug Club for those of you eager to practice your reading and maths!
