Today has been a great day in Room 3. At assembly we enjoyed sharing our learning with the rest of the P1 and P2 classes. We decided to show them our knowledge of the sounds, the actions that go with them and also a word containing the sound. We have been working really hard to blend letters to read words this week and we know how important these sounds are to read, write and spell.

We loved going to the bake sale today to help raise money for Children in Need. We got a chance to pick a yummy sweet treat and even ate these together while having a nice chat with our friends. After lunch, we learned a bit more about Children in Need, what it is all about and how it is so important that all children have the right to feel safe, play and learn. We were then set a challenge to design our own Pudsey t-shirt. Please see some of our designs below.

KR – I liked playing with the Lego.

VC – I liked building with the blocks.

CB – I liked making friends and going to assembly.

GM – I like being together in our class.

KO – I enjoyed drawing in my jotter.

EM – I want to learn bigger numbers. 

AR – I enjoyed doing the Zoom In, Zoom Out activities.
