Bonfire Night 🎆

On Tuesday, Room 3 spent the afternoon learning about the importance of Bonfire night, why we celebrate this day annually and how to stay safe around fireworks. We spoke about the need to keep animals indoors, wear gloves when using sparkles, never touch a firework and also stand well back from any fireworks during a display.
After our discussion, we had a look at different firework displays and discussed the different colours and reactions we saw. We spoke about other occasions we may see fireworks and why. Following our learning, we then used our new knowledge to design our own fireworks display using black card and chalk. Have a look at some of our amazing work below!
Have a lovely long weekend!
